Wish List
My Dad is turning 60 this year. Though he tells us that he doesn’t want a party, I can see it in his eyes that he does.
Dad is quite a funny man. He loves making jokes and totally enjoys seeing people laugh. Dad often reads joke books and then relays them to us in full animation. Since it will be Dad’s birthday and we feel like he already has everything he needs, we asked him to write a wish list for our reference. As soon as we read it, we were realized how thoughtful and generous our Dad was. There was nothing on the list for himself. It was for all of us and some of his friends.
Here are some of Dad’s wish list items:
• Cheap portable generators – He told us how his old friend, Mr. Niles can’t sometimes pay his electricity bills due to late pension payments. Dad would want to give him a portable generator so he won’t eat his dinner in the dark.
• Airline ticket to Canada – My sister’s husband was based in Canada and they haven’t seen each other in months. The airline ticket would be for her so that she and her husband would be together even in just a short while.
