Wanted: A Convection Oven Toaster

I inherited my love for baking and cooking from my mom. I just watched her work in the kitchen, since I never asked her to teach me. She actually didn’t know that I could cook since I don’t do housework at home, and she often scolds me because of that. When I entered college and moved to an apartment, we had no maid and had to do the cooking by ourselves. We were eight in the apartment, and only three knew how to cook, which includes me.

You can imagine my mother’s surprise when I went home one weekend, cooked pasta, and baked a chocolate marble cake – which were edible and even tastes good. Little did my mother know that I learned all of those recipes because of her. After that, we regularly have baking sessions every weekend.

I just noticed one thing during those sessions. The kitchen was unbelievably hot! My mother said that our convection oven heats up the house, and she was already thinking of buying an alternative. She told me that she saw an ad about a convection oven toaster which was smaller than a convection oven but it can toast, bake, roast, and defrost, without heating up the whole house and saving energy at the same time. I told her to go buy one.
